For more than 20 years, Hilltop Harvest has offered a unique and memorable experience that you won’t find anywhere else. Its rural location outside of Redwood Falls is the perfect spot to pick ripe and juicy strawberries in June or gorgeous locally grown flowers later in the summer. You will also find Hilltop Harvest pumpkins at the local grocery store in the fall.

At Hilltop Harvest, we strive to foster a bond between individuals and nature by growing quality, locally grown products and offer sweet and memorable experiences on the farm.

Our story

In 2003 Katherine brought Nick home from college to work on her family’s farm for strawberry season. It was the third season her parents were selling strawberries, and as the business was growing, everyone needed to pitch in. Little did Katherine know, the money Nick earned that season would be used to buy an engagement ring.

They moved back to the Redwood area in 2009 and gradually became more involved in the farm until taking over the business in 2016 when Katherine’s parents were ready to retire.

In addition to watching their own family grow up in the strawberry fields, they also enjoy seeing generations of their customers grow up picking berries as a family tradition each year. They have added a playground and food truck to the business, creating the ultimate summer destination for families to enjoy.

In 2023, Katherine transitioned to working full time on the farm and expanded the business to include cut flowers. Nick still works full time off the farm and spends many nights and weekends working on a variety of farm tasks to help the business thrive.
