Mother Nature’s unpredictability makes it difficult for even the most experienced grower to know exactly when the berries will be ready. My initial prediction based on when the strawberries started blossoming was that our 2025 season could begin around June 10-15th. Comparing the size of the little green berries this year to photos from last year, I’m still feeling pretty confident in that estimation. That said, the week of cool weather in the forecast means the fruit will ripen slowly, so we will be waiting and watching with anticipation!
